Looking simultaneously to the past and the future, Janus is the guardian of gateways, beginnings, and passages. In Roman mythology, he is known for his two faces—a constant presence at boundaries and moments of transition.
At Vollar, Janus represents the meeting of roots and the future, tradition and modernity, art and commerce—a perspective that remains at the threshold, opening the way from one world into another.

Two profiles facing away from one another evoke two moments in time and two ways of seeing. The curves of the parentheses open a space between them—a space for pause, connection, and interpretation. The emptiness between those curves becomes a field for storytelling, where art moves beyond interpretation and into lived experience.
